Home Cookin' - Pork + Shrimp Wonton Soup w....
To say I have an obsession with all things related to Asian Food is an understatement. When I think of a comforting meal its usually got some sort of Vietnamese, Malaysian, Thai, Chinese flair… you get my drift.
I wanted to make dumplings again and more specifically wontons for soup.
I researched a few recipes and based my dumplings from a @steamykitchen recipe HERE
and then adapted it...

Superbowl Spicy Sriracha Wings
Superbowl came around quickly this year and even though my beloved GIANTS weren’t on the field I was still excited to celebrate with friends and also try out making wings for the first time!

BLT Banh Mi @ Soho House
I had a meeting on Wednesday at the Soho House and decided to try their BLT Banh Mi for Lunch.
I am a sucker for a really good Banh Mi and I usually get mine from Nicky’s Vietnamese or from Num Pang so I have high expectations.

A decadent lunch @ Vandaag
I had wanted to try Vandaag ( 2nd Avenue and 6th St ) since I first noticed the grey brick facade last summer.
I remember going to the previous establishment and watching basketball in a massive sports bar space - so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw its transformation.
Opened by Brendan Spiro in late July 10’, the space is designed by Eric Mailaender of Resistance Design.
